Quincy, IL (April 21, 2013) – Chad Simpson of Mt. Vernon, IL picked up the final Clash for Cash race at Quincy Raceways Sunday night. Simpson, fresh off his $4,000 victory last night at 34 Raceway, double dipped and picked up the $3,000 win. Drivers from the MARS series, Corn Belt Clash and the Sunoco ALMS sanctioned the event.

Simpson started on the poll and led every lap of the 40 lap race. The win wasn’t easy as Simpson was chased around the quarter-mile bull ring by New Berlin, IL driver Brandon Sheppard who managed to keep up with Simpson throughout the race. Sheppard would hold on for second.

Shannon Babb of Mowequa, IL; MARS point leader Brian Shirley of Chatam, IL and Jason Perry of Payson, IL rounded out the top five.

The MARS Series will be at Thunderbird Speedway in Muskogee, OK Friday April 26th and Tri-State Speedway in Pocola, OK Saturday April 27th.
