Lebanon-I-44-Speedway(LEBANON, Missouri) – With the racing season entering August and the campaign’s final portion, the point standings at Lebanon I-44 Speedway continue to close up and drivers grow more heated with each passing weekend. That will be no different this Saturday night, August 4, as a full slate of ‘Asphalt-Kicking’ action returns to Missouri’s only asphalt oval for the 13th time in 2012, headlined by the O’Reilly Auto Parts ASA Late Models on Coca-Cola Night at the Races.

“The weekly divisions are the backbone of I-44 Speedway,” said Lebanon I-44 Speedway Promoter Kevin Greven. “Point races are getting heated and the racing action has noticeably picked up as a sense of urgency has arrived for those drivers gunning for a championship. This weekend on Coca-Cola Night at the Races, we want every fan possible, especially those who have never visited us before, to enjoy a great night of racing as these drivers continue to do some ‘Asphalt-Kickin’.”

While the ASA Late Models will provide the main event with their nightcap feature, fans will be treated to a night full of action as an exciting undercard includes the Budweiser Modifieds, Hardee’s Sportsman, Hoosier Tire Road Warriors, and the Coca-Cola Chargers and their “Charger Mania.” Spectator gates open up at 5:00 p.m., with a full slate of ASA stock car racing scheduled to get underway at 7:30 p.m. on the 3/8th-mile oval.

Lebanon I-44 Speedway offers an alcohol-free grandstand, featuring aluminum seating with seat-backs, along with tier parking for cars, pickup trucks and RV’s where patrons may park, tailgate and view the races. Known amongst I-44 race fans as the ‘Budweiser Wild Side’, beer may be brought in by fans to the tier parking areas, while full food and non-alcoholic beverage concessions are available in both the grandstands and tier parking, along with a souvenir and track apparel stand.

Admission prices will remain just $10 for Adults, ages 16 and older, in the grandstands while Adult admission on the ‘Budweiser Wild Side’ will remain just $15. Discounted admission will be offered in both locations for Military members with an ID present, as well as Seniors (ages 65 and older) and Juniors (ages 11-15), and Children (ages 10 and younger) will be admitted for free. A grandstand Family Pass for two Adults and two Juniors plus any number of Children is available for $25, while six Adults entering in the same vehicle on tiered parking will be admitted to the ‘Budweiser Wild Side’ for $75.

“This will be an exciting week for fans,” said Greven. “Between the obvious on-track action and the fan experience that we are focusing on for Coca-Cola Night at the Races, fans will not go home disappointed. We will continue to put out the best racing program in Missouri alongside an experience that is unrivaled in Mid-Missouri entertainment.”

Lebanon I-44 Speedway is located four miles east of the Lebanon city limit on Historic Route 66. Patrons using Interstate 44 may take Exit 135 and then drive approximately one mile east on Route 66 to the track’s main entrance. Additional information about the track’s 2012 ‘Kickin’ Asphalt’ racing schedule may be found on the facility’s official website, www.i44speedway.net, on Facebook at www.facebook.com/Lebanon-I-44-Speedway, and on Twitter (@i44Speedway).
