Springfield, Mo.- Officials of the Springfield Raceway have announced that the pre-entry list has exceeded over 60 for the running of the Liquid Nitro Herbal Energy Drink being held April 2nd through the 4th with a purse in excess of $45,000 up for grabs.
This event being held at the “Quick-Quarter” of the multi-groove Quarter-mile dirt track already has 11 different states represented as the weekly weekend warriors who support local B Modified will compete in a 66 lap event paying $6600 to win and $1200 to win.
The race features 6 different rules packages allowing drivers from all over to compete on an equal basis. The rule packages include Wissota Midwest Mods under the 2013 rules, USRA 2014 B Mod rules, IMCA Northern Sport Mod 2014 rules, IMCA Southern Sport Mod 2014 rules, NCRA 2014 Sport Mod rules and Springfield Raceway 2014 rules.
This is a pre-entry only event and will be limited to the first 200 Pre-Entries. The track will host an open practice session on Wednesday evening April 1st while the competition begins with Thursday night with 12 scheduled heat races and 10 B features in which the winner of each goes into a Qualifying feature that night with the top 4 locking into Saturday Night’s 66 lap feature. No complicated points system, just race yourself into the race. Friday Nights format will be similar to Thursday Nights.
A special Non-Qualifiers race paying $1,000 to win will be held on Saturday night.
Pre-Entries will be accepted until March 30th and Entry Fee is $225 while Pit Passes on Thursday, Friday and Saturday night will be $35.
