The championship point’s battles are heating up in each of their respective divisions. Sedalia driver, Terry Schultz claimed the (USRA) Modified feature last weekend as he rode the extreme high-side with Jim Moody stalking all race-long, exciting the CMS race fans in a memorable showdown of two of the best in the game. Tim Karrick is close in the point’s chase in third with Aaron Marrant and Dean Wille rounding out the top five.

Brett Wood from Warrensburg claimed his sixth feature win of the season in the Street Stock division last week and maintained his stranglehold on the point lead. Troy Turley made some noise recently with five top- three finishes moved up last week and is now tied with Jeremiah Wilson for second; Herb Danner and Larry Ferris complete the top five.

Scotty Martin from Independence claimed his first feature victory of the year last Saturday driving his B-Modified to victory lane. Warrensburg driver, Dean Wille continues to be the driver to shoot for at the top of the B-Mod rankings with Richard Brainard in the second spot. Troy Carlyle, who recently grabbed a feature win, is in third, followed by Ernie Walker and Olen Stephens.

Olathe, Kansas driver, Kyle Rowland garnered his first Pure Stock feature win during his first-ever visit to the track last weekend when point’s leader Gary Akers decided to give his son a chance to race his car. As a result, Akers relinquished the point’s lead to teenage driver Leroy Morrison. Akers sits just behind Morrison in second with Bobby Raybourn third. Finishing out the top five are Darrin Christy and Don Johnson. Review the top ten rankings in each of the division point standings on www.speednetdirect.com.
