CALVERT CITY, Ky. – After a weekend off in deference to the Lucas Oil Dirt Late Model Series race May 3 at Paducah International Raceway, Kentucky Lake Motor Speedway will resume its 2014 season this Saturday, May 10, with a regular program of racing.
UMP Late Model, Modified, Pro (Crate) Late Model and Stock Cars will be competing on the 3/8-mile dirt oval.
Late Model competitors will race for $1,000 to win in a 20-lap main event. The Modified feature will be 15 laps, with $700 to the winner; Crate Late Models will run 15 laps for a $600 first-place payoff; and Stock Cars will run 15 laps with $500 going to the winner.
The pit gate will open at 3 p.m. and grandstands at 4. Practice will get under way at 5, qualifying at 6:30 and heat races are scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
Grandstand admission is $15. Seniors 60 and older and military (active, reserve or retired, with ID card) will be charged $12. Children 10 and under are admitted free.
Pit admission is $25, with a $35 charge for driver and car.
