Highly anticipated return to St. Louis is the highlight of

2014 Camping World Truck Series Schedule

Media Events Scheduled on Friday and Public Events Scheduled All Day Saturday

 

What:                                  NASCAR is back at Gateway Motorsports Park with non-stop action. This Saturday marks the end of a four-year absence of NASCAR in the region with the return of the American Ethanol Presents Drivin’ for Linemen 200 brought to you by Ameren for a first-of-its-kind event: a NASCAR race dedicated to honoring electrical linemen as first responders.  There are various important events to mark the return of this great entertainment to St. Louis.

 

Events:                               Friday, June 13, 2014

Media Interviews:   12:15 – 12:45 p.m.

Ron Hornaday Jr. – Previous Gateway MSP winner

Matt Crafton – Current points leader and most recent race winner

Erik Jones and John Hunter Nemechek – NASCAR Next Driver Erik Jones and John Hunter a Father/Son NASCAR duo to honor Father’s Day weekend celebrations

 

Driver Practice 3– 5 p.m.  and 6 – 8 p.m.

Fox Sports 1 will provide a live national broadcast of the second session from 6-8 p.m.

 

Gateway Pro Am Challenge

Media and VIP Karting Practice  7:30 – 8:30p.m.

NASCAR Racers vs Media and VIPs  8:30 – 10:30 p.m.

This is a great event for media to get to know the drivers and race against the stars of NASCAR in this one-of-a-kind event.

Participating Drivers include TJ Bell, Joey Coulter, Matt Crafton, Erik Jones, Ben Kennedy, Joe Nemechek,  John Hunter Nemechek, German Quiroga, and Tyler Young.
