In the companion Precision Grading AMRA Modified main 6-time AMRA champion Kenny Johnson, Mineral Wells, West Virginia, blasted into the lead from his outside pole starting slot and never looked back.  Johnson led from flag-to-flag, but early in the race the going was not easy.

Johnson was repeatedly challenged by pole-sitter Cody Parker as Parker, Shawn Holiday, and KC Burdette walked away from the rest of the pack.  Two restarts saw Parker try Johnson in turn one, but each time Parker scrubbed off speed, allowing Johnson to maintain the lead.

After a lap eleven restart, Johnson pulled away from the field and won quite handily at the finish.  Rounding out the top ten were Kenny Johnson, Cody Parker, Rick Aukland, Shawn Holiday, Frankie Hall, Dylan Shafer, Mike Conkle, Donnie Miller, Zack Ackley, and Seth Daniels.  Daniels had a fifth place run halted when he was involved in an altercation with a lapped car.

Rick Aukland was the hard-charger in a 12th to third place run.  K-C Burdette dropped out of the race with a flat tire after challenging for a solid top five run.

A moment of silence was held for longtime race prep man and a gentleman who was part of the ownership team of the formerly named K-C Raceway, Mr. Brian Karshner, who recently lost a hard-fought battle with cancer.

The Lucas Oil Late Models are at Brownstown, Indiana Saturday, March 21, 2015 while Atomic hosts the UNOH All—Star Circuit of Champions next Saturday, March 28, a race that pays $10,000 to win.  Late Models and sport Mods are also on the racing card.
