(Macon,IL) One of the most exciting races on the Summer Nationals tour will be held at “World’s fastest 1/5 mile dirt track”, Macon Speedway this Thursday night, July 21st. The Herald & Review 100 is an annual event that draws the top names from around the region to compete for the winner’s share of one of the season’s largest purses. Originally the race was slated to run earlier this month, but was re-scheduled due to rain. Owner of Macon Speedway, Bob Sargent, believes this Thursday’s running of the Herald and Review 100 will provide fans with some of the best action ever seen at the historic facility.
In addition to the feature event, fans will also be treated to the Billingsley Towing Modifieds that always put on a great show.
Gate will open at 5pm in the grandstands with racing action to begin at 7pm. General admission tickets are only $20, children 12 -6 are just $5 and kids 5 & under are free.
