(HARRISBURG, ILLINOIS) “The Silver Shark” Scott James will return to Dirt Late Model competition this Saturday night, March 17 in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. The 36th edition of the ‘Spring 50’ will be held in two days time at the venerable Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky. A complete show is on tap at the 1/2-mile, high-banked speedplant on Saturday and a $5,000 payday will be on the line. Scott was the 2007 victor of the ‘Spring 50’ and finished an impressive runner-up behind winner Eddie Carrier, Jr. last year.

The other two drivers for Riggs Motorsports, Jason Riggs and Kevin Cole, are scheduled to take the upcoming March 16-17 weekend off from racing action. All three Riggs Motorsports drivers are scheduled to converge on the legendary Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana next Saturday, March 24. The annual running of the ‘Indiana Icebreaker’ will once again be sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and boasts a $10,000 top prize. Additional information on both of these races can be accessed online at www.FlorenceSpeedway.com and www.BrownstownSpeedway.com.

In other news, the Riggs Motorsports team and Delph Communications, Inc. are excited to announce the launch of the brand-new www.RiggsMotorsports.com. The new site is dedicated to all three drivers and will be constantly updated throughout the season with the latest news, schedule changes, results, photos, and much more.
