Top Fuel

Antron Brown continues his weekend dominance beating St. Louis Favorite Brandon Bernstein. And he will face Scott Massey who defeated David Grubnic. This will be a repeat of last weekend’s Top Fuel finals. These two racers are teammates and are the top two in season point championship.

“How much more awesome,” exclaimed a happy Scott Massey.

For Massey, his crew had to switch the engine after the last round. But he did not miss a beat.

“It’s going to be a throw down,” said Brown predicting the finals of the Top Fuel.

It will be all Team Schumacher team final as Jack Beckman will line up again Matt Hagen. These two were the top qualifiers this week.

Hagen’s win ended Tim Wilkerson’s great day run. Hagen had a 4.137 / 299.46 mph. Jack Beckman had a low E.T. at 4.049 / 302.35 mph.

Allen Johnson and Vincent Nobile both slipped at the start of their match but Johnson was able to hang on to make the finals.

“Jason [Line] made mad last week said I could not pedal,” joked Allen Johnson.

It was not a laughing matter for Jason Line because he too slipped at his start against Erika Enders. He could not pedal his car in time as Enders rode a rope to the finish.

“That was huge,” said Enders “Our guys really know this track and I am so proud of them.”

It will be an all Harley finals as the father and son team of Hector Arana was upset by Andrew Hines and Eddie Krawiec.
