Clarksville Speedway(HARRISBURG, ILLINOIS) The Riggs Motorsports team wrapped up their version of the 2012 racing season on Saturday night, November 3 at the Clarksville Speedway in Clarksville, Tennessee. A $2,000 top prize was on the line in the one-day Super Late Model showdown. Jason Riggs went too soft on tires during qualifying and posted the eleventh quickest lap, but later won his heat race to earn the eighth starting spot in the A-Main. The Harrisburg, Illinois driver moved forward during the unsanctioned feature and claimed a steady fourth place performance in his season finale. Complete results from Clarksville can be obtained by visiting www.clarksvillespeedway.com.

With his 2012 campaign now complete, Jason and his #81jr team can look back on what was a solid racing season. Jason entered forty-two (42) Dirt Late Model events in ’12 and racked up two (2) feature wins, nine (9) top fives, and fifteen (15) top tens. His two trips to victory lane both came in the month of June at the Clarksville Speedway in Clarksville, Tennessee ($1,000) and the Western Kentucky Speedway in Nebo, Kentucky ($1,500). In addition, Jason also transferred into six Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series feature events this year and five UMP Summer Nationals main events.
