SUNSET HILLS, Mo. (Nov. 14, 2012)- Loyet Motorsports is proud to announce Miller Truck Lines of Stroud, Okla. as a sponsor of Brad Loyet’s o5 Loyet Motorsports/Vacuworx Global Maxim/J&D Performance Chevrolet for the 2013 season.

Loyet plans to continue running the American Sprint Car Series National Tour in 2013 with a schedule expected to mimic this season’s 65 events. Additionally, Loyet plans to compete in six to 12 World of Outlaw meetings in 2013. Loyet Motorsports’ season starts at the Chili Bowl Midget Nationals on January 8-12, 2013 in Tulsa, Okla.

“It is great to have Miller Truck Lines a part of our team for 2013,” commented Loyet about the partnership. “We have exciting plans for 2013 and to have their support is remarkable and we are incredibly thankful that current sponsor, Vacuworx Global, was able to bring us together. We know one of their goals is to grow driver retention and through this program,
we will achieve that.”

“We are excited to be joining Loyet Motorsports for the upcoming 2013 season. We consider this a prime opportunity to gain market exposure,” said Bobby Miller, Vice President of Miller Truck Lines on Monday. “Our partnership with Loyet Motorsports will become an important piece of our driver recruitment and retention program. We look forward to the opportunity to introduce Miller Truck Lines to race fans across the country.”

Miller Truck Lines is joining Vacuworx Global as part of Loyet Motorsports’ Chili Bowl entries as Joe Taylor, Vice President of Sales at Miller Truck Lines explains, “Vacuworx Global and Miller Truck Lines have enjoyed a long standing relationship, so it was a natural fit to join them in their partnership with Loyet Motorsports when the opportunity was presented to our company. Vacuworx Global, and Loyet Motorsports, are first class operations, so we are excited to be part of the 2013 season, and equally excited to be sponsoring a car for the approaching Chili Bowl in Tulsa, Okla.”

“Driver retention and the ability to recruit qualified drivers, is one of the most important issues facing the transportation industry today. Truck drivers are a very large demographic within the racing fan community. In part, we will use this opportunity to reach out to qualified drivers, and as a retention tool for drivers currently operating in our fleet. From an operational perspective, we must find new and unique ways to reach out to an increasingly shrinking professional driver pool,” stated Jeff Duncan, Vice President of Operations at Miller Truck Lines about the partnership with Loyet Motorsports.

Miller Truck Lines (MTL) is family owned and operated by James and Bonnie Miller, along with their sons. The MTL management team has assembled a staff of dedicated transportation specialists that understand supply chain logistics, just-in-time (JIT) and truckload dedicated freight. MTL transportation services include refrigerated, dry van, tanker, flatbed, and a regional wrecker service. More information about MTL can be found on their website, MillerTruckLines.com.
