American Muscle Cars Show their Stuff! Great Weekend Fun for the Entire Family!

What:     The Super Chevy Show National Tour is coming to Gateway Motorsports Park this weekend!  Gateway’s Super Chevy Weekend Presented by Your Mid-America Chevy Dealers hosts the LARGEST SINGLE-MAKE CAR SHOW IN THE COUNTRY.  This spectacular event boasts one of the nation’s finest Performance & Restoration Midways for GM products, as well as Jet Dragsters, a Swap Meet, Autocross, Drag Racing and Car Corral.  The 2012 Gateway event was the largest of the tour and the 2013 program is expected to be even larger.

Fans can get up close and personal with more than 500 classic and new models at the professionally judged Super Chevy Car Show.  Do you have a Chevy or Chevy-powered vehicle you love?  Show your baby off to the world!  Go to www.gatewaymotorsports.com and enter your Chevy!  All participants get to stretch their ride on the oval track Saturday night and are eligible for prizes and trophies! Drive your Chevrolet Dream Car on a REAL NASCAR RACE TRACK!  Thanks to the Mid-American Chevy Dealers, fans will be provided the opportunity to drive their favorite Chevrolet dream car on a NASCAR Super Speedway…including a new Corvette.  The entire Chevrolet line-up of cars will be featured and all fans leave with great collectible items. In 2012, nearly 1000 car lovers had the chance to drive the track, and this year we expect even more!

Weekend racing action at the Super Chevy Show will include the Pro Mod Challenge and the Real Street Drag Radial Manufacturer’s Challenge, two of the most exciting heads-up drag racing categories in motorsports.   You can see traveling and hometown racers in the Super Quick Outlaw, Outlaw Pro Mod, Corvette Challenge, Bracket 1 Brawl, Bracket 2 Battle, DOT Street Fight, True Street, Chevy Against the World, and many more. The Super Chevy Show Bracket Racing series is open to Chevy-bodied or powered cars, including LSX Powered. You just might see a Cadillac CTS-V running down the strip!

Thunderous Jet Cars powered by jet engines will send hot chills through your bones and competing head-to-head in a battle between the beautiful Larson Ladies! Jet Cars with fire bursting from the tail, will run the track Saturday at 11:30 am and 6:00pm, and Sunday 12:00pm and 5:00pm.  www.elainelarsen.com
