Central Missouri Speedway off this Week, Action Returns May 17th with Allstar Midget Series!

(Warrensburg, MO) After a highly successful grand re-opening and stellar night of racing last Saturday, the staff and crew at Central Missouri Speedway (CMS) in Warrensburg will take this weekend, May 10, off from racing as previously announced to catch up with some general upkeep and remaining grounds work.

Nearly 100 cars packed the pits last Saturday, highlighted by the USRA ‘Mighty Modifieds’ and John Allen’s narrow victory over Matt Dotson. A total of 34 modifieds competed last week. In other action, Marc Carter in Street Stocks, Jacob Ebert in B-Modifieds, Bobby Raybourn in Pure Stocks, and Jason Bodenhamer in guest class ULMA Late Models, also drove to victory in their main events.

Speaking of guest classes, when action resumes on Saturday, May 17th for KMMO 102.9 FM Radio Race Night at CMS, the Allstar Midget Series will make their first appearance of three scheduled for this season. USRA Modifieds, Street Stocks, B-Modifieds, and Pure Stocks will also be back in action on May 17.

Normal general admission for adults at CMS is $12, military w/I.D. and senior citizens 65 years and up $10, kids ages six to twelve $5, children $5 and under are free. Pit Gates open at 4:30, grandstands at 5, driver’s, meeting at 6:30, hot laps at 7, and racing at 7:30. Be sure to visit www.centralmissourispeedway.net for all the latest news and information.

CMS is located 3.5-miles north of Warrensburg, MO from the junction of Highways 50 and 13 in Warrensburg just north of the new Hwy 13 by-pass round-a-bout, or from the Higginsville exit off I-70, head south on Highway 13 for twelve and half miles, for up-to-the minute information call on race day.
