HIGHLAND, IL (August 5, 2014) Highland Speedway is proud to present Leaps of Love Night at the Races and the Junior Fan Club Bicycle Blowout Give Away on Saturday, August 9, 2014. Leaps of Love Night is also Fan Appreciation Night with $1 Hot Dogs and $1 Popcorn! This fun filled day at the speedway allows the Leaps of Love families a weekend retreat and let’s them get up close and personal with drivers and their cars at the meet & greet in the early afternoon. This exciting night of racing action at Highland Speedway will feature UMP Late Models, UMP Steve Schmitt Modifieds, UMP B-Dry SportMods, UMP Hamel Coop Street Stocks, and the Daum Insurance Outlaw Micros. $1500 to Win UMP Late Models for this special event! This fun filled day will included many activities for the Leaps of Love Families! The Leaps of Love kids will have some special events planed to share with all the fans at Highland Speedway. Junior Fan Club Members this is the night you have been waiting for, the Bicycle Blowout Give Away! Come out and see if you win a new bike for the new school season approaching. Join us for a great night of racing action and a fun filled night that supports a great cause!
Pits Open at 3:00 pm, Grandstands Open at 5:30 pm, Pill Draw by 5:30 pm, Drivers Meeting at 5:45 pm, Hot Laps at 6:00 pm, Racing Starts at 6:30 pm to accommodate Leaps of Love Special Activities. The UMP Late Models have a raised purse on Leaps of Love Night it will be $1500 to Win! Leaps of Love Night Admission prices are Box Seats $20.00; General Grandstand Admission is $15.00, kids 10 and under are free general grandstand admission with a paid adult admission. $5 of your grandstand admission price will go directly to the Leaps of Love organization. Leaps of Love is an organization that embraces families affected by childhood cancer. Pit Passes are $30.00 and pit passes for kids 10 and under are $15.00 (Kids in the pits must have parental supervision at all times.) The pits will open at 1:30 pm for drivers that are participating in the Leaps of Love Meet & Greet.
Join us Tuesday, August 12, 2014 for Test & Tune Night at Highland Speedway from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Pit Passes are $15.
Daum Insurance Topless Night returns to Highland Speedway on Saturday, August 16, 2014. Topless Night will be a fun filled night of racing action featuring the UMP Late Models, UMP Steve Schmitt Modifieds, UMP B-Dry SportMods, UMP Hamel Coop Street Stocks and the newly formed B.A.M. Midget Series! Come out and see who will take their top off on this action packed night of racing.
