World of Outlaws Late Model Series(YORK, PENNSYLVANIA) Rick Eckert and his #24 team returned to action on Saturday night, May 11 at the I-30 Speedway in Little Rock, Arkansas. The World of Outlaws Late Model Series presided over the one-day showdown and a

$10,000 top prize was on the line.

Rick timed in fourth quickest of the 27 entrants during the qualifying session and later placed second in his heat race. After drawing the outside front row starting spot prior to the 50-lap main event, “Scrub” ran inside of the top five throughout the race before eventually bringing home a fourth place finish. Rick trailed only winner Shane Clanton, Darrell Lanigan, and Josh Richards to the checkers and still sits fourth in the latest WOOLMS point standings. Full results from the rare visit to Arkansas can be viewed online at www.woolms.com.

With the World of Outlaws tour taking the May 17-18 weekend off from competition, Rick will take the opportunity to drive Paul Crowl’s #7 machine again at the pristine Virginia Motor Speedway in Jamaica, Virginia.
The Ultimate Super Late Model Series will sanction the annual running of the ‘USA 100’ on Saturday night and a $10,000 winner’s check will be up for grabs. Additional information on VMS can be obtained by clicking on www.vamotorspeedway.com.
