MOWA - Monster Energy Sprint SeriesAttention: “Jacksonville Speedway has made the decision to go “all in” for Sunday for the MaryLee Standridge Memorial. The forecast is pathetic for Thursday and Friday and with all the rain we have received, there’s no point in pretending that we are going to get a race in Friday… even if it doesn’t rain. By moving to Sunday, when there is no rain in the forecast it gives us the ability to bring in people and equipment to get the pit roads etc. in shape so we can hold an event. If we are going to the expense of building roads to hold a race, we need to do it on a day that’s expected to be dry. This gives us the chance to start working Sunday morning in dry conditions to hold a Sunday evening race.”

Hot laps will be at 4:00 with racing at 5:00. MOWA 410 winged sprints, Big 10 Late Models, Modifieds, Street Stocks and Hornets. Grandstand admission is $20 with children 12 and under free. We will update our website and internet forums shortly.

Saturday as of right now is still a go for the high banks of Spoon River Speedway in Canton, IL to make another double header event for the Midwest Open Wheel Association.
