Wheatland, Missouri – October 7th, 2013 – Officials with Lucas Oil Speedway are pleased to announce the annual Lucas Oil Speedway Championship Banquet will be held on Saturday, November 2nd at the University Plaza Hotel and Convention Center in Springfield, Missouri. The banquet will include dinner and a formal program to honor the Top-10 drivers in each of the (4) Lucas Oil Speedway Weekly Racing Series classes. “With the tremendous talent and growth that we have seen in our weekly racing series over the past couple of seasons, a change in venue for the banquet was necessary to accommodate the large crowd of racers, crews, sponsors, and fans that attend the festivities each year.” commented Track General Manager Dan Robinson
University Plaza is located in downtown Springfield near Hammons Field and Hammons Tower. The street address is 333 John Q. Hammons Parkway, Springfield, MO 65806. Doors will open at 5:30pm with a social hour from 6-7pm followed by dinner and the awards program. A cash bar will also be available.
