POWRi National Midgets’ Jason Leffler Memorial set for MAVTV broadcast Thursday

POWRiMILLSTADT, Ill. (Oct. 22, 2013)—The POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget Series’ Jason Leffler Memorial will be broadcast on MAVTVAmerican Real on Thursday (Oct. 24) at 3:30 p.m. ET and 6:30 p.m. ET.

The Great Clips-sponsored event honored Leffler, a former USAC Midget and Silver Crown champion and NASCAR Sprint Cup, Nationwide and Camping World Truck Series driver who died in a sprint car accident on June 12. The event was run on Aug. 28 at Wayne County (Ill.) Speedway and attracted one of strongest midget fields in the nation in 2013 including reigning POWRi National Midget champion Zach Daum, Honda USAC Dirt National championship leader Chris Bell, Bryan Clauson, Andrew Felker, Bobby East, Shane Cottle, Shane Cockrum and Darren Hagen.

MAVTV American Real, the fastest growing independently owned television network in the United States, can be found on satellite channels 214 on DIRECTV and 248 on Dish, and the Comcast, Time-Warner, Verizon on Demand, Charter and a number of other cable systems.
