Old Timer’s Reunion and Allstar Midgets on Midwest Coating & Comfort Inn Race Night at CMS!

(Warrensburg, MO) As the summer weather heats, so too does the racing at CMS! This Saturday, June 28th is Midwest Coatings and Comfort Inn race night, featuring USRA Modifieds, Street Stocks, B-Modifieds, and Pure Stocks, plus guest class Allstar Midget Series!

An ‘Old Timer’s Race Reunion’ is planned this Saturday at CMS. Drivers are invited to come to a picnic starting at 4 p.m. just off Hwy 13 on the front side of the track. Vintage race cars will be on display to stir up some memories of racing “back in the day.” If you plan to attend, please contact Karen Darling at 660-229-0952. A meal will be provided for the picnic.

Justin Johnson (USRA) Modifieds, Marc Carter (Street Stocks), Troy Carlyle (B-Modifieds) and Bobby Raybourn all garnered feature wins last weekend with the championship points battles heating up in each of their respective divisions. A look at the top ten in the track point standings may be found below.

General admission for adults is $12, military w/I.D. and senior citizens 65 years and up $10, kids ages six to twelve $5, children 5 and under free. Pits open at 4:30 grandstands at 5:00, drivers, meeting at 6:30, hot laps at 7:00, and racing at 7:30. Pit Passes are $25. Track report line, 660-747-2166.

Event details for the Ninth-Annual Tom Wilson Memorial BBQ Bowl to be held July 4th and 5th may be found on the main CMS web page. Check out CMS online at www.centralmissourispeedway.net.
