This exciting night of racing action at Highland Speedway will feature UMP Late Models, UMP Steve Schmitt Modifieds, UMP B-Dry Solutions SportMods, UMP Hamel Coop Street Stocks, and the Daum Insurance Outlaw Micros. Oberbeck Grain Company has added $100 to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for the Daum Insurance Outlaw Micros for this Christmas in July night. Christmas in July is a fan favorite, especially for the kids in the Junior Fan Club. Any drivers, teams, fans, supporters, and businesses that would like to make a donation to the Junior Fan Club for Christmas in July it would be greatly appreciated. They are looking for cash, toys, gifts, gift certificates, racing shirts, anything. Pits Open at 3:00 pm, Grandstands Open at 5:30 pm, Pill Draw by 5:45 pm, Drivers Meeting at 6:00 pm, Hot Laps at 6:30 pm, Racing Starts at 7:00 pm. Box Seats are $15.00; General Grandstand Admission is $12.00, kids 10 and under are free general grandstand admission with a paid adult admission. Pit Passes are $30.00 and pit passes for kids 10 and under are $15.00 (Kids in the pits must have parental supervision at all times.)
We will be taking a Pit Stop weekend Saturday, July 19, 2014 to prepare for busy week of arena events at Highland Speedway for the Madison County Fair! The Madison County Fair is Tuesday, July 22 – Sunday, July 27, 2014. Tuesday July 22nd is the Illinois Tractor Pulling Association Truck and Tractor Pull this action packed event has 7 classes and will feature tractors, trucks, and hot modified tractors. Wednesday, July 23rd MOWA Sprint Series returns to Highland Speedway for an action packed night of open wheel racing also featuring the UMP Steve Schmitt Modifieds, and Daum Insurance Micros. Thursday, July 24th features the always poplar Combine Demolition Derby, come out and watch these massive machines crash and bash to see who will come out on top. Friday, July 25th features the Lawn Mower Demolition Derby and the Car Demolition Derby it is another night of crashing and bashing action to see who will take home the win and the Mad Dog Trophies. Saturday, July 26th brings the UMP Oberbeck Grain Company Hard Charger Night to Highland Speedway featuring UMP Late Models, UMP B-Dry Solutions SportMods, UMP Hamel Coop Street Stocks, and UMP Sammie’s KidModz, with Hard Chargers being awarded in every class.
