The MARS DIRTcar Series presented by Andy’s Frozen Custard opens May with a pair of events at Monett Speedway on May 1st and Springfield Raceway on May 2nd.
Monett Speedway in Monett MO will begin the weekend on Friday May 1st with a $2,000 to win show. Also racing will be Bmods, Pro-4, Midwest Mods and Pure Stocks. Grandstands open at 6pm, Hot Laps at 7pm and Racing at 7:30pm. Adult general admission is $20, Juniors 15 – 12 are $5 and 11 and under are free. Pit pass is $35. On Saturday May 2nd, the martians return to Springfield Raceway for their second appearance of the 2015 season. Sponsored by Vatterott College, the race pays $2,000 to win. Also racing will be Amods, Bmods, Midwest Modz, Pure Stocks, Legends and Kruzrs. Pits open at 3:30pm, Grandstands at 5pm, Hot laps at 6:30pm and Racing at 7pm. Adult general admission is $20, kids 6 -12 are $5 and kids 5 and under are free. Pit pass is $35. Additional information on the race track is available at www.springfieldraceway.com.
