Anarchy at the Arch Drag Festival: Third annual Street Car Super Nationals Thursday through Saturday at Gateway Motorsports Park

GatewayMSAugust 22, 2016, St. Louis Region – The Anarchy at the Arch Drag Festival featuring the third annual Street Car Super Nationals will take place Thursday through Saturday at Gateway Motorsports Park. GMP will feature nostalgia drag racing (Nostalgia Drag Racing League and Victory Nostalgia Super Stocks) during the day and the Street Car Super Nationals under the lights.

 

Street Car Super Nationals (www.streetcarsupernationals.com) qualifying will take place on Thursday and Friday with eliminations on Saturday. Racing will include two Pro Mod classes, small tire classes, the $10,000-to-win 315 Radial vs. Outlaw 10.5 class, $5,000-to-win 275 Radial class and $3,500-to-win Outlaw 8.5 class. Also on the card are 235 Limiteds and bracket racing for Electronics and Non-Electronics.

 

The Nostalgia Drag Racing League (www.nostalgiadragleague) and Victory Nostalgia Super Stocks (www.victorynss.com) will qualify on Friday with eliminations on Saturday.

 

Wednesday, August 24

1 p.m. — Credential sales and pit parking open.

2 p.m. — Tech inspection.

5:30 p.m. — SCSN Test ’n’ Tune ($150 per car).

10 p.m. — Credential sales conclude, stack begins.

11:30 p.m. — SCSN Test ’n’ Tune concludes.

 

Thursday, August 25

10 a.m — Credential sales open, pit parking begins for NDRL and Victory Nostalgia Super Stocks.

4 p.m. — Spectator gates open, SCSN Index qualifying.

5 p.m. — NDRL and Victory Nostalgia Super Stock Test ’n’ Tune session No. 1 (3-run punch card for $50).

 

7 p.m. — SCSN Heads-Up qualifying; SCSN Index qualifying; NDRL and VNSS Test ‘n’ Tune session No. 2;

SCSN Index.

 

10 p.m. — Credential sales conclude, stack begins.

10:30 p.m. — SCSN Heads-Up; NDRL and VNSS Test ‘n’ Tune session No. 3; continue Index qualifying.

11:55 p.m. — Conclude racing.

 

Friday, August 26

10 a.m. — Credential sales, pit parking open.

4 p.m. — Spectator gates open; SCSN Index qualifying.

5 p.m. — First NDRL qualifying session. First VNSS qualifying session.

7 p.m. — SCSN Heads-Up qualifying.

8 p.m. — Second NDRL qualifying session. Second VNSS qualifying session.

10 p.m. — Credential sales conclude, stack begins.

10:30 p.m. — Second SCSN Heads-Up qualifying session. Continue SCSN Index qualifying until midnight.

Midnight — Conclude racing.

 

Saturday, August 27

10 a.m. — Racer gates open.

11 a.m. — Spectator gates open.

Noon — Final NDRL qualifying session. Final VNSS qualifying session.

1 p.m. — First round of SCSN Sportsman.

 

2 p.m.

First round of NDRL eliminations.

First round of VNSS eliminations.

Second round of SCSN Sportsman (for any class of 33+ cars).

 

3:30 p.m.

Second round of NDRL eliminations.

Second round of VNSS eliminations.

Third round of SCSN Sportsman (for any class of 17+ cars).

 

5 p.m. — Third round of NDRL eliminations.

Third round of VNSS eliminations.

 

Intermission and track prep.

 

6:30 p.m. — Fourth round of NDRL eliminations. Fourth round of VNSS eliminations.

6:45 p.m. — SCSN opening ceremonies.

6:55 p.m. — National anthem.

7 p.m. — First round of SCSN eliminations (16 cars).

8 p.m. — NDRL final.  VNSS final.

8:30 p.m. — NDRL and VNSS Domino’s Pizza Victory Lane ceremonies.

9 p.m. — Second round of SCSN eliminations (8 cars).

10:30 p.m. — Third round of SCSN eliminations (4 cars).

Midnight — Fourth round of SCSN eliminations (2 cars).

12:30 a.m. — Domino’s Pizza Victory Lane award ceremonies.

 

SPECTATOR ADMISSION:

Single-day adult: $25.

Adult 2-day: $45  (Thursday-Friday, or Friday-Saturday).

Adult weekend spectator: $60 (Thursday-Saturday) Does not include restricted-area or starting line access.

Teens (ages 13-19) single-day: $10.

Teens (ages 13-19) 2-day: $20.

Teens (ages 13-19) weekend: $30.

Kids (12 and under): Free.

Spectator camping West: $150 per unit.

Spectator camping East: $250 per unit (pitside finish line; enter via racer gate).
