2019 MSCS Series Schedule

THE MSCS SCHEDULE FOR 2019

Haubstadt, IN – Jan. 4, 2019 – The Midwest Sprint Car Series has released the schedule for the upcoming 2019 season. Twenty sanctioned events at six different speedways have been scheduled for drivers to participate in. The series will be venturing into its 19th season of presenting ever exciting 410 non-wing sprint car competition.

Upon release the MSCS schedule lists events for each month starting in early April and not ending until mid October. Racing begins on Saturday night April 13th with the series joining with USAC in the co-sanctioned Spring Showdown at Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt. MSCS and USAC also compete together on September 14th in the Haubstadt Hustler. That event each offers the biggest pay-out of the season with $10,000 going to the winner.

Activity for MSCS picks up in May. Tri-State Speedway’s Midwest Madness on Saturday May 18th will also include an appearance of the MOWA Wing Sprints. MSCS will be in action Memorial Day

weekend beginning on May 24th. First up will be the Josh Burton Memorial Race at Bloomington Speedway on Friday. The series will move to Lincoln Park Speedway on Saturday and finish with a third day of racing with the Memorial Weekend Classic at Tri-State Speedway Sunday. On all three nights the feature will pay $2,500 to win. The Paragon Speedway will host the series for the first of three visits this season on Friday May 31st.

June MSCS action begins with the Summer Showdown at Tri-State

Speedway on Saturday the 8th. The Winner will bank $5,000! Then Brownstown Speedway will host the series on Saturday June 29th.

Mid-season will be busy. On July 4th MSCS will be racing at the Paragon Speedway. Friday and Saturday July 5th and 6th, the series will be at Lincoln Park Speedway. The occasion is the running of the “Bill Gardner Sprintacular.” This event drew 42 cars in 2018.

MSCS will make a fair appearance Wednesday night July 10th at the Terre Haute Action track. Saturday’s Sprint Stampede at Haubstadt on July 13th will wrap up the MSCS events for July. Five MSCS races are set to be held in a 10 day span.

In August it will be time for the 15th annual Hoosier Sprint Nationals. The feature that Saturday at Tri-State Speedway will be the paying $5,000 to win. The next night MSCS will return to the legendary Terre Haute Action Track for a second 2019 visit. Those important dates on the schedule are August 10th and 11th. The next weekend MSCS will be at Paragon Speedway on Friday August 16th. On the 17th the series will return to Putnamville’s Lincoln Park Speedway for a fourth and final season visit.

The last three races of the season are all to be contested at the Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt. The Labor Day Weekend Challenge on Sunday September 1st at Tri-State Speedway will pay $3,000 to win.

The Haubstadt Hustler is next on September 14th. MSCS will conclude the season on October 19th. The feature winner will receive the coveted “Harvest Cup” and $5,000. Tradition dictates that the MSCS Champion will be crowned that night and the Rookie of the Year will be honored.
