Saturday, May 23, was another great night of racing at the Highland Speedway. The UMP Sportsman division of 17 cars led off the evening. It was Andy Casper who took the first checkered flag of the evening by winning the first heat over Jon Ripperda, Russell Eilers, and Bryan Slover. Second heat top dog was Allan Geiseking who led Jeff Nash, Justin Durbin and Paul Nash. Third heat saw Rick Johnson cross the finish line first then Ryan Eilers, Greg Spencer, and Jon Huegen. The dash had Jeff Nash lead the pack of Ripperda, Johnson, and Ryan Eillers. The checkered flag of the Feature went to Russell Eilers for the sixth time this season. He was chased by Geiseking, Justin Durbin, Greg Spencer, Johnson, Slover, Lee, Nathan Schmitt, Paul Nash, Aaron Melton, John Cooper, Huegen, Dan Ricklefs, Jr, Ryan Eilers, Jeff Nash, Ripperda, and Andy Casper DNS.

Next division up was the 27 car UMP Late Model s. It was the Trenton Tornado, Michael Kloos, who took the first checkered flag in the division. He won the first heat over Dan Jacober, Brent Helmkamp, and Rick Salter. Second heat belonged to Mark Voigt who led Paul Bailey, Danny Ripperda, and Rick Standridge. Third heat saw Chad Zobrist lead Michael Jacober, John Beck, and Mike Hammerlee. The dash winner was Dan Jacober who was chased by Voigt, Bailey, and Kloos. Consi order of finish was Mark Faust, Mike Schulte, Marty Smith, Jr, Mark Clary, Steve Leach, Aaron Kleine, John Cory, Kent Schoeck, Mike Harris, Donnie Cisco, III, Justin Vosholler, and Rodney Standerfer DNS. It was the Highland Bulldog, Chad Zobrist, who took home his fourth Feature trophy this season. Zobrist was chased by Kloos, Salter, Faust, Dan Jaboer, Bailey, Hammerlee, Michael Jacober, Helmkamp, Schulte, Smith, Jr, Dick Taylor, Dave Thornton, Kerry Gaultney, Beck, Clary, Ripperda, Voigt, Leach, and Standridge.

Next was the 19 car Steve Schmitt Modified division. The first heat saw Andy Oswald take the checkered flag over Robbie Eilers, Aaron Kleine, and Jesse Wisely. Second heat had Brett Korves take the win over Mike Harrison, Steve Ellison, and Tyler Deibert. Third heat top dog was Dean Hoffman. He beat out Chris Smith, Roger Fohne, and Steve Stotler. Chris Smith decided he wanted the top spot in the dash. He was chased by Hoffman, Korves, and Eilers. However in the Feature, it was Dean Hoffman who took the checkered flag first. Following him were Harrison, Eilers, Ellison, Deibert, Kleine, Korves, Smith, Chad Sellers, Fohne, Eri c Goetter, Ron Hartnagel, Matt Acord, Stotler, Paul Becker, Aaron Muller, Oswald, Mike Linsky, and Jesse Wisely.

It was the UMP Factory Stock division of 26 cars that came next. It was three time Feature winner, Bob Zbinden, who lead off by winning the first heat over Austin Isaak, Jordan Suhre, Aaron Wood, and Jason Suhre. Seond heat went to Justin Suhre who led Tracy VonRohr, Trevor Isaak, and Jeremy Izard. Third heat went to Joe Swip, then Dan Dodson, Scott Egbert, and Charlie Durbin. Consi order of finish was Travis Horner, Kyle Swip, Josh James, Tristan Wentler, Dale Bohnenstiehl, Rick Vivanio, Ryan Emig, Lacey Egbert, Willy Myers DNS, Nick Knebel DNS, and Justin Hall DNS. Bob Zbinden took his fourth checkered flag of the year in the Feature. He was chased by Justin Suhre, Austin Isaak, Dodson, Izard, Jordan Suhre, Joe Swip, Scott Egbert, Eddie Sterns, Horner, Trevor Isaak, Bohnenstiehl, VonRohr, Wentler, Joe Joyce, James, Kyle Swip, Durbin, Wood DQ, and Jason Suhre DNS.

The Street Stock division had 24 cars. It was Terry McCann who started off by winnning the first heat. He led TJ Eilers, Jason Nash, and Larry Smith, Jr. Second heat had Jeremy Pate beat out Billy Kruep, Justin Leichsenring, and Dusty Sampson. Third heat had Michael Ripperda, Jr lead AJ Cline, Jake Hewitt, and Stephen Flannery, Jr. Consi order of finish was Bobby Dees, Jr, Keith Flannery, Jordan Bauer, Jeff Buss, Stephen Fohne, Brian Miller, Vince Pratt, Michael Leichsenring, and Brian Meyer. It was Jeremy Pate who took the last checkered flag of the evening in the Feature. He was chased by Rippeda, Jr, Hewitt, TJ Eilers, Cline, Smith, Jr, Brad Venhaus, Billy Kruep, Flannery, Jr, Dees, Jr, Keith Flannery, Buss, Bauer, Fohne, Sampson, Jusin Leichsenring, Jason Nash, John Cory, McCann, and Marcus Kruep.
