Racing set to resume this Saturday, July 9th at Lake Ozark Speedway!

Lake Ozark SpeedwayRacing will resume this Saturday July 9th at Lake Ozark Speedway in Eldon, Mo. This weekend will be Fan Appreciation Night at the speedway with the first 600 with paid general admission receiving a free jumbo hotdog. Beer will be half price for the night. Racing will feature the Picker’s Junction UMP Modifieds, Bishop Auto Glass Late Models, This Bud’s for You Florist B Modifieds and the Fuzzy’s Bar and Grill Street Stock. The UMP Modifieds will be running for $1200 to win thanks to Amerishop for adding $400 and JD Detail Shop for $100 to the winner. Also on tap will be the Fuzzy’s Bar and Grill Street Stocks running the make-up feature from the June 18th rain out. All cars are welcome to race in the regular July 9th portion of the show but only the cars that were set to start the June 18th show will be eligible to run the make-up feature.

General admission will be $10 for adults with kids 12 and under free and gates open at 5pm. Pit gates will open at 4pm with pit passes $25. Pill draw will close at 6pm with hot laps at 6:30pm and racing starting at 7pm.

Future dates will have be a regular racing program (no sprints) on July 16th with the This Bud’s for You B modified make-up feature from the June 18th rainout.

July 23rd will have the “Battle of the Badges” race which will feature law enforcement officers from across the state racing to raise funds for the Missouri Special Olympics. The Amsoil 360 Sprints will return to the speedway racing for $2000 to win. Racing will also include the Picker’s Junction UMP Modifieds racing for $1500 to win. The June 18th $1000 to win UMP Modifieds feature that was rained out will also be made up.
