Wheatland, MO (August 17th, 2011) – A & G Electric will host this Saturday night’s racing action at Lucas Oil Speedway. The Rockstar Energy Drink Weekly Championship Series will be in full swing as Saturday is one of three remaining championship races left in 2011. The ULMA Late Models, Pitts Homes A-Modifieds and the Carson’s Corner Napa Factory Stocks are anxious to take to the track for the last three point races of the season. Lucas Oil Speedway will also welcome back the Midwest Vintage Racers for the final time in 2011.
The ULMA Late Model class currently holds Rylan Long from Greenfield, MO in the points lead. Rylan is no stranger to victory lane at Lucas Oil Speedway with 7 wins in 2011. Long is followed by Tommy Cordray from Browning, MO. Cordray rides in second position just 71 points behind Long. Neosho, MO native Chris Hawkins is third in championship point standings and is 105 points out of the lead. Larry Jones and Christopher Morelock are the final two drivers in the top five. Jones of Eldorado Springs, MO is 184 points from the top with Morelock shortly behind in fifth.
Mickey Burrell continues to lead the points championship in the Pitts Homes A Modifieds. Burrell from Fair Grove, MO has only a 17 point margin over Chase Jones in second. Jones has a moderately comfortable lead over Urbana, MO’s Lyle Dietrich who rides in third. John Fellers in the 5J from Flemmington, MO has his sight set on Dietrich only four points behind in fourth position. Josh Woody from Waynesville, MO rounds out the top five.
With only three mere points separating James Flood of Billings, MO and Sundance Keepper from Everton, MO in the Carson’s Corner Napa Factory Stocks, Saturday night’s race should be even more exciting than in weeks past. All eyes will be on these top two drivers as they battle it out until the end. Chip Shaddox from Wheatland, MO remains third in points. Randy Gilmore suffered a tough night last week has dropped down into sixth allowing Mike Bitner and Tony Reasoner Jr. to advance into fourth and fifth. Gilmore will be back in action looking to make up lost ground, making Saturday nights race one to anticipate.

Saturday night the Frog’s Signs Junior Fan Club will have bean bag toss, water balloon volleyball, jump rope contest and other fun activities. The Pomme Run Car Club will be in attendance on Saturday with many local classic car owners shinning up their rides for the fans to enjoy.
The Lucas Oil Go Cart Slick Track is open and will be running Saturday night. Tickets are just $5 per ride!
Spectator Gates open at 5:00pm this Saturday with Hot Laps set to get under way at 7:00 and the first big race of the night at 7:30pm. Adult Admission at the gate is just $12 with Seniors and Active Military only $8. Juniors (6-15) are just $5 and Kids 5 and under are always FREE at Lucas Oil Speedway. Show Your AAA Membership Card at the gate and receive $3 off any Adult or Senior General Admission Ticket.
Family Passes are priced at only $25 for this event which includes entry for two adults (age 16 and up) and up to three youth (ages 6-15), discounts on kids meals, gift shop merchandise, and funnel cakes.
A limited number of VIP Suites are also still available for Saturday night.
