Magnolia Motor Speedway(BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS) Billy Moyer and his famed #21 team ventured to the Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, Mississippi on October 12-13 for the 18th running of the Coors Light ‘Fall Classic.’ The two-day, unsanctioned event boasted a $15,000 top prize. In preliminary action on Friday night, Billy laid down a quick lap during the qualifying session and later took the win in his loaded heat race.

After starting from the pole position in Saturday’s 100-lapper, Billy grabbed the top spot at the drop of the green flag and led lap one. The Batesville, Arkansas ace lost the lead to eventual winner Don O’Neal on the second circuit and methodically faded to a seventh place finish in the ‘Fall Classic’ due to a loose racecar. Full results from Whynot can be viewed online at www.whynotmotorsportspark.com.

The Billy Moyer Racing (BMR) team is scheduled to take the upcoming October 19-20 weekend off from Dirt Late Model competition. They will return to the state of Mississippi on October 26-27 for the 9th Annual ‘Cotton Pickin 100.’ The Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi will once again play host to the unsanctioned event, which will pay $15,000 to the winner. Billy will be seeking his fourth ‘Cotton Pickin 100’ title, as he emerged victorious back in 2004, 2008, and 2009. Additional information can be obtained by clicking on www.magnoliadirt.com.
