USRABy Jeff Nun – HUMBOLDT, Kan. (March 30) – Brian Bolin made it two in a row Saturday night as he topped the Iron Man Challenge USRA B-Mod feature at the Humboldt Speedway to cap off a thrilling King of America III Modified Nationals.

Similar to Friday night, once out front Bolin walked away from the field. After leading all 25 laps for a $2,000 payday Friday, he drive by defending USRA B-Mod national champion Scott Drake on lap 6 en route to a $1,000 payoff Saturday night.

Drake held on for second followed by Wisconsin long-tow Corey Crapser and Minnesota travelers Dan Wheeler and Jacob Bleess.

Thursday’s opening night winner, Kris Jackson, claimed the sixth spot, Jake Timm was seventh, Trevor Drake was eighth, Tim Van Gotten nabbed ninth and Jason Schlangen rounded out the top 10.

Despite a 13-place finish, Jeremy Chambers moved up to snag the points lead in the Iron Man Challenge standings. Jackson is second, followed by Shawn Strong, Crapser and Steve Muilenburg.

The next Iron Man Challenge event for the USRA B-Mods happens Friday, April 19, at the Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Kan. USRA Stock Cars will make their series start with the B-Mods on Saturday, May 25, at the Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, Minn.
