Mid-America Lightning Sprints Presented by Jayhawk Millwright thunders into Montgomery Motorsports Park (MMP) for their final race of 2013 on Aug. 31st. This will be the first appearance for the lightning sprint cars at the fast and exciting Montgomery Motorsports Park race track. Mid-America Lightning Sprints Presented by Jayhawk Millwright (MALS) is very excited to be supporting the fast, highly completive winged 410 sprint car series of Midwest Open Wheel Association (MOWA). This is a great combination track promote Ted Daleen said, with MALS fast and affordable winged lightning sprint cars plus the fire breathing winged 410 sprints cars the fans are in for a real treat! Also on the schedule are vintage stock cars.
Mid-America Lightning Sprints Presented by Jayhawk Millwright is expecting drivers from MO,KS,IA, WI,IN and even as far away as NY to compete in this event. Jayhawk Millwright has raised the bar for this event making it the most lucrative payout this year. This race will pay $1000 to win and $100 to start. MALS also has several contingency awards to be given out starting with the $75 Kent Transportation hard charger award, Midwest Speed shop shock rebuild certificates to each heat race winners, Speedway Motors hard luck of the night $50 gift card, Engler Machine and Tool $100 dash for cash and Speedway Specialties B feature sponsor which will pay $50 each to the first 10 cars who don’t transfer to the A feature.
Drivers and crews will have the opportunity to race the night before on Aug. 30th at Grain Valley MO with Midwest Lighting sprints at the John Heffernon Jr. memorial race, which pays $750 to win and $100 to start. This Double header Labor Day weekend will be one to remember as one driver could take home $1750 in cash for winning both events. Also Thanks to Liquid and Powder coat finishes of Kansas City (LPFKC.COM) MALS will be hosting another great FREE meal to support the Lightning Sprint drivers and crew at the Mid-America Lightning Sprints Presented by Jayhawk Millwright race on Aug. 31st at MMP. This will give teams time to get to MMP early, relax and work on their cars before for the racing action on Sat. night.
Montgomery Motorsports Park (MMP) is located 1hr west of St. Louis and 45 min east of Columbia in New Florence MO. Turn south on Hwy 19 and look for the sign.
