Macon Speedway

(Macon, IL) DMH Night made for an exciting night of racing.

POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget Series completed the 30 lap-event with awesome slide jobs. Danny Stratton took the checker flag, Andrew Felker followed to finish second, Zach Daum raced hard to a third place finish, Daniel Robinson and Bubba Altig rounded out the top five. Midgets Race Cars at Macon Speedway is becoming a premier series.

The Billingsley Towing Modified feature event was full of excitement throughout 20- lap event. Tommy Sheppard Jr. took first. Zack Bunning finished second, Curt Rhodes fought hard for third place, Randy Huffman and Guy Taylor rounding out the top five.

Street Stock feature, Bobby Beiler was able to hold off Kevin Crowder to take the checkered flag. Gene Reed, Kyle Waters and Brian Dasenbrock rounded out the top five.

Outlaw Hornet driver Jeremy Reed claimed first place, Adam Webb, Shane Kelley, Vernon Carlow, and Greg Garrison rounded out the top five.

Matthew Reed was impressive as he won the Stock Hornet feature he was followed by Tharen Reno, Thad Gee, Steven Stine, and William Deavers.

Macon Speedway will prepare for the Championship Race September 28th. This race will close out the 2013 season. Racing that night will be the Billingsley Towing Modifieds, Sportsman, Street Stocks, Outlaw Hornets and Stock Hornets. For more information go to www.maconracing.com
