(HARRISBURG, ILLINOIS) Jason Riggs was the lone Riggs Motorsports chauffeur in Dirt Late Model action over the weekend, as he traveled back to Clarksville Speedway in Clarksville, Tennessee on Saturday, March 15. The remaining 31 circuits of the rain-postponed ‘Tuckasee Toilet Bowl Classic’ was held and Jason was one of the nine drivers that returned to complete the event. Unfortunately, the Harrisburg, Illinois native suffered a flat tire on his #81jr Rocket entry and was placed eighth in the final rundown of the $2,500 to win show.

A regular program was also held on Saturday evening at the Volunteer State oval. Jason ran third in heat race action, which locked him into the inside of the third row for the start of the $1,000 to win A-Main. Jason was then able to move up a single position during the UMP DIRTcar Series feature to claim a solid fourth place showing behind only victor Ryan Unzicker, Terry English, and Riley Hickman. Full results from both weekend tilts can be accessed online at www.clarksvillespeedway.com.

Both Riggs Motorsports drivers – Jason Riggs and Brian Shirley – plan to be in the pit area this Saturday evening, March 22 at the legendary Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana. The 17th edition of the ‘Indiana Icebreaker’ will take place at the famed 1/4-mile oval this weekend and the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series battle will pay $10,000 to the winner. A full program of racing action is scheduled at Brownstown including qualifying, heat races, consolation events, and the 50-lap headliner. Brian is currently tenth in the latest version of the LOLMDS point standings heading into this one-day affair.
