POWRiInside Line Promotions – CARL JUNCTION, Mo. (April 1, 2014) – The next challenge for Andrew Felker kicks off this weekend with a POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget Series doubleheader.

Felker will drive for Amy Reisdorf and Bill Ecker of RAB Racing on Friday at Lincoln Speedway in Lincoln, Ill., and Saturday at Macon Speedway in Macon, Ill.

“I definitely have high expectations,” Felker said. “I’ve ran well there in the past and they’ve ran well there in the past. I’d be happy with top fives both nights.”

The Lincoln Speedway race is also co-sanctioned with the Badger Midget Auto Racing Association. Felker and RAB Racing are teaming up to chase the Badger championship this season.

“I’ve ran pretty good there the last couple of years,” Felker said. “It’ll be a little different hopping in someone else’s car.”

Friday’s race will also mark the third time Felker has driven a car for RAB Racing.

“We ran one race in Wilmot, Wis., and we were battling for the lead and lost the brakes,” he said. “I think we can have a successful partnership.

“With the Badger deal being a limited schedule the key is to not have mistakes. On the POWRi side of it we’ve definitely got to recover after throwing away those two nights at Port City.”

Felker is coming off a rough outing during the POWRi season-opening event at Port City Raceway in Tulsa, Okla. He fought mechanical problems all weekend and was unable to compete.

On a bright note, Felker’s best weekend of last season happened during back-to-back races at Lincoln Speedway and Macon Speedway.

“The best finish I had last year was second at Lincoln Speedway and I won the following night at Macon Speedway,” he said. “A weekend like that would be awesome, especially coming off our last outing.”
