Concord, North Carolina (01/27/15) – On the heels of a very successful 2014 campaign on dirt tracks across the United States in his Federated Auto Parts #9 Modified, Ken Schrader is preparing for an even bigger season in 2015. With determination to far exceed the accomplishments he attained a year ago, Schrader has also made some changes within his program to streamline the team’s efficiency.

“Last year we raced with four different sanctions, and it seemed like my team was constantly having to change our cars to meet the various specs,” said Schrader. “It’s really hard on my guys to be focusing on changing specs on the car, when they need to be using that time during the week to prepare the car and its components for the actual race. Plain and simple it just became aggravating to us all.”

As a result for 2015 Ken made the decision to expand his arsenal with more chassis options. In addition to his new Impressive Chassis he has also purchased a new GRT by Phillips and a Victory by Moyer Chassis.

“Impressive Chassis has just been incredible to me over the years, and I look forward to continuing my great relationship with them,” notes Schrader. “Now with adding the GRT by Phillips and Victory by Moyer Chassis to the fold, our team will have much more flexibility, when it comes to competing with the different sanctions.”

The team plans to utilize the Impressive Chassis and GRT by Phillips Chassis in USRA, UMP, and USCS competition, while putting the Victory by Moyer Chassis into IMCA competition.

Schrader concludes by saying, “I couldn’t be more excited about the potential that this season holds with all of these new racecars. Furthermore it will be awesome to be able to continue to work with the excellent folks at Impressive Chassis, and it will be a true honor to get to work hand-in-hand with racing legends like Joe Garrison, Terry Phillips, and Billy Moyer.”

Schrader Racing will lift the lid on their 2015 Dirt Modified campaign with nine nights of UMP Modified racing, spanning eleven days at two different tracks, February 7th-17th. Action will include a pair of events at North Florida Speedway (Lake City, Florida) on February 7th-8th before traveling to Volusia Speedway Park (Barberville, Florida) on February 10th-17th.
