Mississippi Standout to Take Over Driving Duties of Team’s No. 19mBIRMINGHAM, Ala. (10/24/23) – JCM Motorsports is proud to announce that, Mississippi standout, Spencer Hughes, will be taking over the driver’s seat of the team’s YellowHammer Design & Construction No. 19m Torco Advanced Lubricants / XR1 Rocket Chassis / Durham Racing Engine Super Late Model.“It’s a very exciting time here at JCM Motorsports as we welcome Spencer Hughes to our team. Not only is he a proven driver on the track, but he also brings a wealth of knowledge about car setup and assembly to our operation,” JCM Motorsports owner, Colten Miller noted. “We’re going to hit some races before this season is over to start gelling as a team, so that we can hit the ground running at Speedweeks in 2024.”For Spencer Hughes, he’s excited for everything about the opportunity with JCM Motorsports represents.“I’m looking forward to a fresh start with Colten (Miller) and everyone at JCM Motorsports. In 2023 Herrington piloted the team’s car to three wins, nine Top-5 finishes, and 14 Top-10 performances in 43 starts. The team finished third in the final standings for the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series.“Wil (Herrington) will always be family to us, and we enjoyed our time with him as our driver. We wish him nothing but the best of luck as he embarks on new opportunities in his racing career, and we couldn’t be more excited for what the future holds for JCM Motorsports,” Miller concluded. “We’re still evaluating our plans for the 2024 campaign.
