World of Outlaws Late Model SeriesWatertown, NY (January 9, 2012) Tim Fuller and his Tim Fuller Racing Inc., team had a very long 2011 season after unfortunate circumstances put them behind at the beginning of the season. Fuller stuck with the World of Outlaws Late Model Series throughout the entire season and finished a disappointing tenth in series points. But 2012 promises to be a better year for the wily veteran from Watertown, NY.

‘Last year was just disastrous,’ Fuller said from his shop. ‘We’ve been able to catch our breath here during the off-season and regroup a good bit. A lot of good things have happened over the past few weeks that I think are really going to go a long way in getting us started off on the right foot.’

Fuller will look to get the 2012 season started the right way when the World of Outlaws Late Model Series invades Screven Motor Speedway on Friday and Saturday, February 10 and 11 for the $20,000 to-win ‘Winter Freeze’. The Outlaws will then travel south to Bubba Raceway Park in Ocala, FL for the three nights of the ‘Late Model Winter Nationals’ on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, February 16, 17, and 18 paying $8,000, $10,000, and $12,000 respectively.

Tim talked about some changes for this upcoming season, ‘It’s a new season, with that comes some change and a new attitude. The first thing we had to do was get rid of the red on the car. So we’ll debut a brand new look on our #19 car this season designed by JNJ Motorsports Media. It’s different than what people are used to seeing me in but Dan at Atomic Sign Works did a fantastic job printing the JNJ design and it looks fantastic.’

After the three race weekend in Ocala, Fuller will venture over to Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, FL for the UNOH DIRTcar Nationals that are scheduled from Monday, February 20 through Saturday, February 25. However, Fuller will only be in action from Wednesday through Saturday in both Late Model and Smith Brothers Concrete Foundations sponsored #74 Big Block Modified.

‘We picked up a few sponsors during the winter months and we’re way ahead where we were last year but we’re still running a limited budget. So we’re going to save our stuff for the Outlaws shows at the end of the week at Volusia,’ Fuller claimed. ‘I need to thank and welcome DMI Rears, Peterson Fluid Systems, Pro Motion Metal, and Simpson Race Products for helping out as product sponsors; I also need to thank Dale Beitler and Reliable Painting for lending a hand over the winter as well as Scott Keyser at Keyser Manufacturing for the help he’s providing for us. There are a lot of great people in this business and if it weren’t for them, I wouldn’t be able to hit the road this summer.’
