World of Outlaws Late Model Series(BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS) Billy Moyer and his #21 team invaded the hallowed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio from September 5-7 for the 43rd edition of the fabled ‘World 100.’ The expanded three-day format kicked off with a pair of Twin 25s, which each boasted a $5,000 top prize. On Thursday night, Billy ran second in his heat race, but later wound up twenty-first in the 25-lap feature. At the “Big E” on Friday evening, Billy won his heat race in preliminary action and later scored a strong fifth place performance in the 25-lapper behind only winner Tim McCreadie, Gregg Satterlee, Jeep Van Wormer, and Steve Francis.

The stakes then picked up in a big way heading into Saturday’s $46,000 to win ‘World 100.’ Looking for a record seventh globe trophy, Billy unfortunately suffered a flat tire during his heat race, which helped lead to an eighth place finish. Following a sixteenth place effort in his B-Main, Billy wound up sixth in the $1,000 to win B-Scramble. The Batesville, Arkansas star was unfortunately unable to find a way into the 100-lap crown jewel main event. Complete results from the ‘World 100′ weekend can be accessed online at www.eldoraspeedway.com.

Following Eldora, the Billy Moyer Racing (BMR) team will now turn their attention to a pair of World of Outlaws Late Model Series battles in the states of Illinois and Missouri on September 13-14. The tiny Belle-Clair Speedway in Belleville, Illinois will get the doubleheader started on Friday with the ‘Photobilly 50,’ while the annual running of the ‘Pevely Nationals’ will wrap things up on Saturday at the Federated Raceway at I-55 in Pevely, Missouri. Both one-day shows in the St. Louis area will be headlined by $10,000 to win main events. Additional information can be found by logging onto www.woolms.com.
