HIGHLAND, IL (April 16, 2014) Come out and celebrate Easter weekend at Highland Speedway on Saturday, April 19, 2014. Join us for the Kids Easter Egg Dash and Bunny Hop for our Junior Fan Club Members and there are some great prizes that will be up for grabs in the Easter Egg Dash. The Easter Bunny will even be stopping by Saturday to lead the kids in the Bunny Hop. Moms, Dads, Grandmas, Grandpas, Aunts, & Uncles bring out the kids and your cameras it will be a great chance to get a picture of the kids with the Easter Bunny. Bring out the entire family for a fun night of racing action and Easter fun at Highland Speedway.
This exciting night of racing action at Highland Speedway will feature the UMP Late Models, UMP Steve Schmitt Modifieds, UMP B-Dry Solutions SportMods, UMP Hamel Coop Street Stocks, & the Daum Insurance Outlaw Micros. It will be an awesome night of racing action. Come out and see who will end up in the CC Food Mart Victory Lane this Easter weekend. Pits Open at 3:00 pm, Grandstands Open at 5:30 pm, Pill Draw by 6:00 pm, Drivers Meeting at 6:15 pm, Hot Laps at 6:30 pm, Racing Starts at 7:00 pm. Box Seats are $15.00, General Grandstand Admission is $12.00, kids 10 and under are free with a paid adult admission. Pit Passes are $30.00 and pit passes for kids 10 and under are $15.00 (Kids in the pits must have parental supervision at all times.)
Next weekend brings the best of the 70’s to Highland Speedway on Saturday, April 26, 2014 with 70’s Night. Be sure to join us for this fun filled night in your best 70’s wear. There will be prizes for some of the best dressed 70’s outfits. So break out those 70’s clothes or dress up like your favorite 70’s stars. Any drivers, teams, fans, supporters, and businesses that would like to make a donation to the Junior Fan Club for their own 70’s Night Best Dressed Contest it would be greatly appreciated. They are looking for prizes, toys, gift certificates, racing shirts, anything.
