St. Francois County Raceway (Farmington, MO) Press Release 5/11/2015 – Okay Mother Nature, you have made your point known, you are not a fan of racing, we get that. But the rest of us are so if you would, please rain Sunday – Thursday and take a well-deserved rest Friday and Saturday. It wasn’t just SFCR that battled the weather; I-55 in Pevely also closed and the NASCAR race in Kansas City finally got in after a long rain delay.
While we should be talking about who won what and all the good racing that went on Saturday night we are left to sit and wonder about next week. One advantage of the recent nights off from racing are those drivers who wreaked or where having running issues have had time to make repairs and get their engines tuned up.
Driver and crew chiefs, check out the online rule book at www.sfcraceway.com <http://www.sfcraceway.com> for tire rule changes in the A and B Modified class! Changes will go in affect June 1st and July 1st.
This Saturday night will mark our first $5 night of the season. Five Dollar night – what’s that? I thought this was a family establishment…. Five Dollar night is where we reduce our grandstand admission from $10 to $5 for adults. This is a monthly event at St. Francois County Raceway and always draws in a big crowd in the stands.
So come out this Saturday night, May 16th and watch some of the fastest 410 Winged Sprint cars in Missouri!
