World-of-Outlaws-Late-Model-Series(CARPENTERSVILLE, ILLINOIS) The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series took the #28 team to I-80 Speedway in Greenwood, Nebraska on July 17-18 for the fifth edition of the ‘Silver Dollar Nationals.’ The mega-event, which was co-sanctioned by the Lucas Oil MLRA Series, drew sixty competitors to the 4/10-mile oval and all eyes were focused on the hefty $32,000 payday. On Friday night, Dennis Erb, Jr. kicked off the unique format by running seventh in his first heat race, while he captured the victory in his second and final prelim of the evening.

By virtue of accumulating the twenty-third most passing points on Friday, Dennis was forced to run a consolation race on Saturday. After placing second in his B-Main, Dennis rolled off from the inside of the eleventh row in the 80-lap headliner. During the course of the ‘Silver Dollar Nationals,’ the Carpentersville, Illinois hotshoe was able to pick off ten competitors en route to a respectable eleventh place showing. Dennis still finds himself seventh in the latest version of the LOLMDS point battle exiting I-80 Speedway. Complete results can be viewed online at www.lucasdirt.com.

Next up for Dennis Erb Racing will be a trip to Fairbury American Legion Speedway in Fairbury, Illinois on July 24-25 for the 26th Annual ‘Prairie Dirt Classic.’ The World of Outlaws Late Model Series will sanction the marquee event this weekend in the Land of Lincoln and a whopping $26,000 top prize will be on the line. Things kick off at FALS on Friday night with qualifying and heat races, as well as the inaugural #FALS Draw Showdown, a $5,000 to win, 25-lap shootout. On Saturday evening, consolation events and the 100-lap PDC headliner will thrill the passionate fan base. Additional information can be obtained by pointing your web browser to www.woolms.com.
