PrintMidwest Big Ten Series Events Added To Finish Off Season
Lincoln, Macon, Quincy, & Jacksonville Involved In Make-up Dates

Officials from the Midwest Big Ten Series, a conglomerate of dirt track facilities in Illinois, have announced some updates on upcoming events to round out the 2015 campaign. Due to early season rainouts, schedules for the Big 10 Super Late Models, Pro Late Models, and Street Stocks were all short of the ten that were originally scheduled. This week, Bob Sargent, promoter from Macon Speedway, as well as Kenny Dobson, from Jacksonville, Quincy, and Lincoln Speedway, announced additional dates to fill the Super Late Model, Pro Late Model, and Street Stock schedules.

The Midwest Big Ten Series Pro Late Models remaining schedule will start with a doubleheader this coming weekend, with Lincoln Speedway on Friday, September 11 and Macon Speedway on Saturday, September 12. The Big 10 Pro Late Model championship finale, leg #10, will be now held at Macon Speedway on Saturday, October 3. That event will include the POWRi Midgets and Micros as well as the B-Mods.

The Midwest Big Ten Series Street Stocks have already completed nine events for 2015. The one event missing was from Jacksonville Speedway during the first half of the year. That event has just been rescheduled for Friday, September 25. It will mark the tenth and final event for the Big Ten Street Stocks this season.

The final event for the Big Ten Super Late Models will be coming up on Sunday, September 20 at Quincy Raceway. It will be the eighth and final event for the top tier class. A couple of early season rainouts kept the schedule away from the original plan of ten races.

Each of the three schedules were put together to help build car counts and excitement at a number of events for the three divisions. In each, the drivers top eight finishes are used to determine their final standing. If ten events are completed, the drivers lowest two point totals will be dropped.
