Belle-Clair SpeedwayYoungster & co-rookie of the year in 2010 Tyler Ratajczyk took his hot rod Pure Stock from the third row outside starting position and drove it like a veteran. His car could go anywhere he wanted, using the cushion or down against the inside wall he worked his way through to the front passing 5 other competitors along the way! Once in front Ratajczyk was able to keep point leader Randy Dietzel in check and with a celebratory fist in the air crossed the finish line for his first ever UMP Feature Victory! Dietzel was second followed by Jake Hewitt, Dawn Rheinecker & Jeff Buss.

The UMP Sportsman produced another first as Robbie Eiler’s from Highland IL. Pedaled his GM Performance Crate engine powered machine from the 6th starting position to the checker. This marks the first Feature win for the new AARA crate engine program and the first for Eiler’s this season! Joe “Dog” Volluz raced home in second tailed by Denny Tribout Jr., Jimmy Clark & Mike “Wahoo” Jones.

A stellar field of UMP Modifieds rolled into Belle-Clair Speedway and provided a crowd thrilling 20 lap feature event. Dean Hoffman from Troy, IL. Would take the early lead from the pole position and hold on to it midrace with Brett Korves & Mike Harrison battling for the second position. Harrison was able to squeeze past Korves and set his eyes on Hoffman. A Caution on lap 15 erased Hoffman’s lead and put Harrison on his bumper for the restart. Hoffman to the low side , Harrison to the high side they would battle wheel to wheel for the next three laps with Harrison finally able to motor past for the win his second of the season at the Bull Ring in 2011. Hoffman settled for second Aaron Kleine third, Brett Korvis slipped to fourth & Tyler Deibert fifth!

Another second feature win of the season was on tap in the UMP Super Late Model Division as Mark Voigt from Marine IL. Parlayed his Dash victory to the pole for the feature. Voigt would dominate the race leading from green to checker. Behind him the race for second was a different story hotly contested for the entire 25 laps. Mike Schulte, Matt Weidner & Dave Thornton all diced in and out top to bottom lap after lap sometimes three abreast at the line. Schulte would wind up second followed by Weidner, Thornton & Point leader Mike Hammerle fifth.

The most exciting race of the night the Pro 4 Stocks feature was a battle from the get go as no less than six cars swapped the lead through midrace with no more than three car lengths separating the top six. Current point leader Jordan Suhre was able to masterfully maneuver a late race pass of Ryan Emig and claim his second feature win of the season and build his point lead. Emig, Dave Racer, Aaron Wood & Billy Lapaglia rounded out the top five.
