Lebanon MidwayLebanon,Mo.-The Central Bank Championship Chase at the LebanonMidwaySpeedway is hitting the stretch drive as StockCar Racing action continues Friday Night with another exciting night of Dirt Track Racing in the 5 classes.

Action will find the Central Bank FactoryStocks,Aaron’s Modifieds,Energy Company PureStocks,Transport Graphics StreetStocks and Rocky Ridge Construction Midwest Modz all battling for those important positions as several drivers are preparing for the season ending special events.

Current FactoryStock point leader Tyson Troutman of Houston is still looking for his first win of the season but consistant finishes has the defending champion setting in the seat to defend his championship while last weeks winner Donnie Miller of Houston has snuck around rookie Shawn Whitman to take over the runner-up spot.Miller with 2 wins this season has missed a couple of events this season is still within striking distance of Troutman his brother-in law.Whitman’s hard crash last week and early exit dropped him to third overall in the action packed division.

Defending Modified Champion Michael Stake maintains the point lead with only 1 feature win this season, but is always in the hunt up at the front of the field.Veteran JC Newell is trying to hold off many time feature winner Shawn Strong in the chase for second place as the Modified action is as good as it gets under the lights on Friday Nights.Consistant running Bill Schaar and Lebanon’s Kris Jackson complete a very tough top 5.

Despite not winning a feature yet this season Lebanon’s Matt Young still maintains a slim margin over defending champion Kory Barker in the PureStock class.Kolt Barker has had the hot hand the last few weeks and sets a solid third and plenty of Racing left to do in the chase in this highly talented class of cars as several drivers are gathering more experience and looking stronger each week.

The StreetStock Class also has an exciting battle going on as 2-time and defending champion Joe Francis has a 34 point lead over Lebanon’s Trevor Ellingson while Brandon Waters is setting a solid third.Last week this class saw the top 7 cars all together at the finish as they kept the crowd on the edge of their seats all night long.Multi-time winner Mark Simon,Rodney Yost,Brandon Knudtson and newcomer Andrew Neil keep the action close.

Defending Midwest Modz Champion Little JC Newell opened up a 45 marker lead over early season contender Rich Reynolds as Reynolds now finds Sam Petty,Bill Joiner, veteran Earl Muilenburg and Lebanon’s Travis Hill fighting for the top spot in feature action.Petty has been one of the hottest drivers around between the Midway And SpringfieldRaceway in this class as former FactoryStock front runner Tim Jones of Marshfield made his Midwest debut last Friday night and it won’t take long to get the hang of this class.

Gates open at 5:30 with hotlaps starting at 7:05 and Racing action at 8PM Sharp.General Admission grandstand tickets for Adults are only $10 while kids 8-15 are $5 and under 8 Free.Next week Sept 9th, Kids Bike Races will help highlight the racing card for kids 10 and Under.
