Sunoco Race Fuels Welcomes National Champion Jimmy Owens to Team Sunoco for 2012

Lucas Oil Late Model SeriesLinwood, PA (January 3, 2012) – Sunoco Race Fuels is pleased to announce that Jimmy Owens, 2011 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series National Champion, will join Team Sunoco in 2012. Sunoco Race Fuels has been a proud supporter of dirt late model racing for many years supporting hundreds of race tracks, numerous national and regional drivers in the industry along with sponsoring several racing series including the “Official Fuel” of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series for the past six years.

Jimmy Owens is considered one of the top drivers in the country in super dirt late model racing.

Jimmy won numerous crown jewel events in 2011 including the CBS broadcasted Show-Me 100, World 100, Sunoco North/South 100 along with winning the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series National Championship. Jimmy had 13 victories in 2011 including the season finale at the Dirt Track at Charlotte during the World Finals that was broadcasted “Live” on SPEED.
