Muskogee, OK (April 6, 2012) – Billy Moyer of Batesville, AR picked up his 16th career win with the MARS DIRTcar Series at Thunderbird Speedway for the 1st annual Charlie Fulton Memorial.  Duke Whiseant of Texarkana, AR was the early race leader as he led the first eight laps.  Moyer would take the lead on lap 9 and pull away from the field until MARS current point leader, Jesse Stovall of Galena, MO was able to catch him in lap traffic and make the pass for the lead on lap 28.  Moyer would regain the lead on lap 34 and hang on for the win.  The win netted the Hall of Famer $5555.55 for his efforts and then another $727.50 in lap sponsor money bringing his total winnings to $6283.05.

Stovall would finish second with Wendell Wallace of Batesville, AR; Tony Jackson Jr. of Lebanon, MO and David Turner of Creighton, MO rounding out the top five.  In addition to finishing third, Wallace also won the Dash for Cash worth $555.00.

The next race will be at Tri-City Speedway in Pontoon Beach, IL on April 13, 2012.
