(HARRISBURG, ILLINOIS) Christopher, Illinois driver Kevin Cole claimed his first feature win of the young 2012 racing season on Saturday night, April 21 at the Highland Speedway in Highland, Illinois! After winning his heat race from the tail, Kevin ran second in the dash to earn a front row starting spot in the 25-lap UMP weekly main event. Kevin took the lead on a couple of different occasions in the wild race and eventually outlasted Dan Jacober, Frankie Martin, Chad Zobrist, and Kerry Gaultney to take home the win!

Scott James was also in action representing Riggs Motorsports over the April 20-21 weekend. On Friday night, the #81 team found themselves in the pit area at the Moler Raceway Park in Williamsburg, Ohio for a $1,100 to win weekly program. Scott ran second in his heat race prior to notching a sixth place effort in the A-Main behind winner Jason Jameson, Barry Doss, Wayne Chinn, Chad Stapleton, and Duane Chamberlain. At the Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky on Saturday evening, Scott chose to load up following hot laps due to the ultra-rough track conditions and scratched from the remainder of the $2,000 to win event. Complete results from the weekend can be viewed online at www.highlandspeedway.com and www.molerracewaypark.com.

The upcoming weekend (April 27-28) is shaping up to be a busy one for the Riggs Motorsports team.
