Wheatland, MO (June 19th, 2012) – The ASCS National Sprint Car Series Presented by MAV TV will make the first of two stops at the Diamond of Dirt Tracks this Saturday, June 23rd. Midwest LOW-E presents the finale of ASCS Sizzlin’ Summer Speedweeks 2012. Saturday’s event is set to be one of the hottest shows of the summer with top Sprint Car stars expected to be in attendance. The WAR Wingless Sprint Car Series and DJ’s RV B-Modifieds will also be in action.
Wayne Johnson from Knoxville, Iowa currently sits atop the ASCS National Points standings with Jason Johnson from Eunice, Louisiana just 18 points behind in second. Broken Arrow, Oklahoma native, Brady Bacon is third in overall standings. Wayne Johnson took Night #1 of Summer Speedweek and Brian Brown claimed a victory on Night #2 at Devil’s Bowl in Mesquite, Texas. On Monday night, Jason Johnson grabbed Night #3 at Jones Motor Speedway in Chatham, Louisiana. Look for these and many more of the top Winged Sprint Car Drivers in the country! Gates will open at 5 PM. Hot Laps will kick off at 7 PM with racing at 7:30 PM. Adult General Admission Tickets are $25, Senior Admission age 62 and up and Active Military is $20, with Youth Admission age 6-15 only $5. Kids age 5 and under are always FREE at Lucas Oil Speedway. A Family Pass is also available and includes two adult admissions and up to three youth, with discounts on Famous Funnel Cakes, Ozarks Coca Cola Go-Karts and in the Track Treasures Gift Shop for only $50.
