Highland Speedway Logo -2012HIGHLAND, IL (March 11, 2013) Highland Speedway is proud to announce that we are going to have the largest guaranteed point fund in recent history at Highland Speedway for the 2013 racing season. This is something that everyone at Highland Speedway has been working hard to achieve and we are proud to say that we have accomplished our goals.

Promoter Scott Kuhn expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming season at Highland Speedway, “Having a guaranteed point fund is something that all of us have wanted for our racers. Track Manager Sue Zobrist expressed her thoughts on the upcoming season at Highland Speedway. “We are really excited about this point fund and what it will bring to Highland Speedway. We as a committee have been working hard to find sponsors, along with the countless hours that we all put in to make the Season Kickoff Dance possible. Without the help and support of all our sponsors and supporters this point fund would not be possible. Please remember to support the businesses and people that have made this season at the Highland Speedway possible.”

The first opportunity for racers to start earning points toward the 2013 Point Fund will be at the Bunny Hop and Easter Egg Dash on Saturday, March 30, 2013. However the Daum Insurance Outlaw Micros will kick off their point season at the Lucky 40 on Saturday, March 16th.
