December 28, 2013 – Parramatta, NSW Australia – Valvoline Raceway–

Steve Kinser claimed his twenty-second feature race win at Valvoline Raceway last night, however he didn’t have it all his own way after a race long battle with Max Johnston and Max Dumesny. It was a battle that will long be remembered as the slick track provided plenty of passing opportunities and side by side battles.

Max Johnston used his front row starting spot to his advantage quickly establishing a lengthy lead. Kraig Kinser and Troy Little were battling for second with Steve Kinser and Max Dumesny asserting their authority early. Kraig Kinser took the lead briefly before Johnston was back in control.

After a number of restarts, Dumesny and Steve Kinser made their way to the front and the battle was on. In dense lapped traffic, the two drivers swapped positions and ran wheel-to-wheel. At the chequered flag it was “The King” Steve Kinser who took the win followed by Dumesny, Ben Atkinson, Darryl Campbell and Max Johnston.

The next event on the Sprintcar Association of NSW calendar is this coming Wednesday night, January 1.
