Springfield, MO (March 19, 2014) – Springfield Raceway will be kicking the 2014 Racing Season off with MARS Latemodels Saturday,March 22 in Springfield , Missouri.
March Madness is the theme for this event as Co-Owner Jerry Hoffman states “It’s Madness to even try to schedule a Dirt Car Race in these parts in March. We could have snow, rain , ice or even a tornado.” Right now March 22 Weather Man is saying a nice temperature of 69 & sun.” The MARS Cars will be battling for a top prize of $3,000.
Also on the card for the night will be USRA A-Mods, USRA B Mods, Midwest Modzs & Legends. A-Mods will be paying $500 to win and $90 to start. USRA B Mods will be paying $300 to win and $50 to start. Both USRA A-Mods & USRA B Mods will be running for National Points on this Night. The Legends will be paying $250 to win & $45 to start. Midwest Modzs will be paying $200 to win & $35 to start.
Grandstand Admission will be $20 for adults, kids 6-12 $5.00 & Kids 5 & under are free. Pit Passes will be $35.00.
